We would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming eResearchNZ 2014 Symposium to be held from Monday 30th June – Wednesday 2nd July at University of Waikato, Hamilton.
This symposium will act as a national forum for discussion around the following themes:
- real world: eResearch enables science to address real world problems, enabling current and future research communities and practices. New Zealand's research sector is currently establishing collaborative approaches to science, including for our most pressing national science challenges, many of which will require eresearch to support their work.
- data science: The exponential growth of data is forcing researchers to adopt novel data analytical tools, such as machine learning and data mining, to make big data small again
- education: new skills and career paths are emerging in New Zealand, based around applying advanced computing to research. Meanwhile, both new and established scientists are starting to need these skills in order to keep up on the world stage.
As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to network face-to-face with the attendees, and build relationships with domestic and international delegates.
